Ingredients:

  • ½ cup chopped fruit
  • ice
  • syrup or sweetener of choice, optional
  • 1 cup tonic water, or 1/2 cup
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • ½ cup hot water
  • lemon wedge, for garnish

Preparation:

  1. In a glass cup, add in your fruit and muddle with a large spoon or muddler. I used mangoes in one and strawberries in another.
  2. Place some ice into your cup then follow with your sweetener of choice, if desired. I used a mogu mogu drink as the sweetener. Top with tonic water.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tsp matcha with ½ a cup of water until frothy, set aside.
  4. Top your drink with matcha.
  5. Enjoy!
