1 cup Cottage Cheese whatever fat % content you want
½ cup Salsa
For the Lettuce Wraps
Romaine Lettuce
Your favorite Hot Sauce
Pink Pickled Onions
Pickled Jalapeños
Crushed Fritos
Instructions
For the Cottage Cheese Walking Taco
Add olive oil to a fry pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground turkey and break it up until it’s crumbled and cooked through.
Add taco seasoning and water as directed on the package. Cook for 2 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
Add cheddar, cottage cheese and salsa and stir together until combined. Season with salt and pepper if neeeded.
For the Lettuce Wraps
Add a few scoops of the cottage cheese walking taco mixture to each lettuce leaf then top with your favorite hot sauce, pink pickled onions, pickled jalapenos and crushed fritos.
